During my internship today, we went to the Center for Land Based Learning which was in a part of Davis that I never knew existed. We passed by this bridge that was covered in graffiti. I don’t remember ever seeing graffiti in Davis before today. There wasn’t too much to see during the trip. It’s a huge farmland with a couple of chicken coups. There was a muddy ‘pond’ area with tiny frogs that the kids tried to catch. I didn’t do much else during my internship.
After I came home, I filled out the application for another internship that is for a clinical trial. There’s no definite date that I finish my current internship but I plan on stopping after the quarter ends just because I want to do something nutrition related. I’m going to miss the students though, they were all so cute. It was so much fun, too bad I’m not a Child Development major.
